When traveling the motorway you will go through some Toll Booths. At the first you must stop (right hand lane) and pick up a ticket. At the second Toll Booth you must stop (right hand lane) and pay – approximately 3.55 Euros in cash (No Credit Cards) If you do not stop at either Toll Booth, you pay an on the spot fine at the second toll of 40.00 Euros in cash.

As you leave the airport follow the signs to “centro” until you come down to a large roundabout with traffic lights. Take the first available right off this roundabout. (Signed 2º Circular) This will bring you up onto an urban motorway. Within 1.5 kms you will pick up the blue motorway signs indicating the A8 to Loures. Exit Nº 5. Take this exit and drop down to two sets of lights. Go straight through these lights and pass the massive Sporting stadium on your right (it is yellow and green.
Keep on this (A8) motorway for approximately 45 minutes (73 kms) picking up signs for Loures, Torres Vedras, Lourinha, Bombarral, Peniche, Obidos and Caldas da Rainha. Leave the A8 at Exit 13 signed PENICHE. Immediately there is a T-junction, turn left. (Praia D'El Rey is signed here). Follow for 2 kms under a bridge and take the next left again signed Peniche.

Follow this road for 15 minutes (9 kms) until you reach the village of Serra D’El Rei. Just after the pedestrian crossing lights there is another set of traffic lights, where the road forks. Turn RIGHT here by the large blue sign for Praia D'El Rey and within 3 kilometers you will find the resort.
